As of mid-2019, A.O. Smith has discontinued the BTH 200/201 Series Cyclone Mxi units to its discontinued product line.
This discontinuation includes, but is not limited to the following models: BTH 120(A)-250(A) and BTH 300(A)-500(A) (the full list of A.O. Smith units that are no longer in production can be found here).
The Cyclone Mxi series first started production back in 1996, as a part of A.O. Smith’s ever increasing effort to increase the thermal efficiency of their units via engineering and production methodology. We are proud to announce that our USWHPRO family has expanded once again! Our newest technician, John, will become the head of our Michigan service department in the coming months, following his A.O. Smith University Commercial Water Heater and Boiler Start-up Certification. John is currently based in Baldwin, Michigan, bringing almost 20 years of mechanical experience to the table: with 19 years in the HVAC-R industry and an Associate’s Degree in HVAC-R from Ferris State University, the nation’s top school for HVAC-R! We are proud to announce that our USWHPRO family has expanded, with the addition of a new service technician, Curtis. He will be our primary service technician in the Peoria area, bringing an impressive mechanical background to the table, while continuing to grow his skills at an upcoming A.O. Smith University training seminar for Commercial Water Heater Installation Certification. Curtis has been diligently training with our technicians over the last several weeks, as well as impressing our U.S. Facilities staff with his skill level and adaptability.
